I began using essential oils about 10 years ago to try and help with my daughters headaches. We have found so many uses and remedies with essential oils! I have been a fan of Mark Mallett's for years and was intrigued by Lea's information on thieves oil, so... I am now very excited to be a Bloom Crew member and learning more about Young Living!

Our family lives in Bardstown, Kentucky, the Bourbon Capital of the World and Kentucky's Holy Land. Basil Hayden, (Old Grandad sold by Jim Beam) my 5th great grandfather, led the first 25 families into the wilderness from Maryland to escape religious persecution and settled near Bardstown, Kentucky. I am a tour guide at My Old Kentucky Home mansion and a singer. My husband Jay and I have been married for 32 years and have 3 children, 26(married with 2 little boys), 24 and 22. Our middle daughter is special needs and I spend most days helping her and driving her to work, Active Day, and church activities.

We settled at the oldest brick catholic church west of the Allegheny Mountains, which is St. Thomas in Bardstown. My husband is studying to become a deacon so we began our college courses this past August and are a year and a half into the five year program.

We share our mini farm with 16 chickens, 2 dogs, a cat, and more rabbits than you can shake a stick at!
