Migraines
These are exciting times for those who struggle with this genetic, neurological disease that can be so crippling, especially during the winter. If you or someone you love suffers from Migraine, I highly recommend signing up for the Migraine World Summit's annual conference, (https://migraineworldsummit.com/), which has become a mecca for information, research and collaboration between professionals and Migraineurs. It is free to watch for the first week they release the latest talks (usually in March). There are also fabulous links to internationally acclaimed Migraine professional's and researcher's websites. (No- I don't work for them or get any perks for mentioning their site. I'm just part of a nerdy group of friends with Migraine who have found the site very helpful for ourselves and our friends and family).
One of the biggest lessons I've learned over the years is how important taking care of yourself is to managing Migraine- especially making sure that what you eat is clean and meeting all of your nutritional needs. It turns out Migraine is pretty complex- which is why some things work for some people and not for others. Recently, my friends discovered another natural remedy, that so far seems to help many in at least kicking the Migraine back significantly.
The recipe is simple:
--5 ml (5 half droppers) of Mineral Essence, added to
--30 ml/ 1 oz (a shot glass) of NingXia Red
Is it the Magnesium in the Mineral Essence? Magnesium can be a trigger if you are deficient- maybe it helps the body absorb minerals better when taken in combination with some of the other ingredients? Who knows- but if it works...
I will say that it is a lemon-pucker of a drink, (unless your body really needs the minerals- then it tastes strangely nummy). And, there's something deeply satisfying about taking a "shot" of your "medicine," especially since most severe Migraineurs have to swear off alcohol completely.
Hopefully this helps someone here- I'd love to hear if anyone else has other remedies they've heard of or used to help stave off the Migraine beast.

Thank you for sharing your experience with finding migraine relief with Young Living's powerful nutritionals, Toni! I'm not a chronic migraine sufferer (have had a handful in my life so I do know how debilitating they can be), but I do find that the blend "M-Grain" is super helpful for tension or stress headaches. Also, keeping hydrated is key as well... something I tend to forget sometimes, but on the days I whip up my "Red Drink" (1 Ningxia Red sachet, 1 Tbsp Sulfurzyme Powder, 1 Alkalime packet, and a squirt of Vitality Drops in a tall tumbler filled to the top with water), come to think of it, it's consistently a headache-free day.
