...and I will add to that a 9th important reason: TAX WRITE-OFFS!
And you don't even need to be aggressively "pursuing the business" to be able to take advantage of this, either... even occasionally helping others to get their own oils too, should those conversations naturally arise, qualifies you to earn a little commission (which, by the way, is a really great way to help you pay for your own oils :-)—which in turn qualifies you as a home-based business.
Speaking as someone who has been a self-employed entrepreneur for well over 30 years now, the value of this element can't be under-estimated! Running a home-based business allows you write off many day-to-day expenses that you normally wouldn't be able to otherwise. Bonus!
